1. About these terms
These shared Terms of Service govern your use of Roundhouse apps that link to them, including CastPoint, TerraSea, and, when made available, Find the Bite, provided by Roundhouse Development, LLC (“Roundhouse,” “we,” or “us”). By using a covered service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. These terms do not promise that a planned product or feature is currently available.
Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of information. These terms supplement any applicable app-store agreement. They do not replace mandatory consumer protections or the license terms that an app store applies to your download.
2. Eligibility and permitted use
You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or use the service with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian who can do so. The services are not directed to children under 13.
Subject to these terms and any applicable store license, you may use the consumer apps for their intended purposes. Do not disrupt or overload the services, bypass access controls, misuse another person’s information, introduce malicious code, or copy, resell, or systematically extract content without permission or a legal right to do so. Separate authorization is required for developer/API access.
3. Weather, marine, and outdoor safety
Do not rely on an app as your sole source for navigation, severe-weather warnings, lightning safety, tide clearance, water depth, or decisions about whether it is safe to travel or go on the water.
Forecasts, radar, maps, tides, current estimates, environmental readings, and alerts may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or wrong. Coverage, model accuracy, and data age vary. A blank map or absence of an alert does not mean there is no hazard. Notifications depend on connectivity, device settings, provider availability, and other factors; delivery is not guaranteed.
Use official warnings, current nautical charts, local observations, appropriate equipment, and your own judgment. Follow instructions from emergency services and relevant authorities. Never operate an app in a way that distracts you from safely operating a vehicle or vessel.
4. Fishing scores and AI-assisted guidance
Fishing-activity scores, solunar information, and any AI-assisted recommendations are informational estimates, not a guarantee of fish presence, catches, conditions, or outcomes. AI-generated content can contain errors and should be independently checked.
You are responsible for verifying current seasons, licenses, catch limits, protected species, access rights, closures, and local rules. A displayed waypoint, route, or location does not grant permission to enter, anchor, fish, or cross private property. Planned Find the Bite features are subject to change before release.
5. Your content and third-party services
You retain rights you hold in information or material you provide. You authorize us to process it only as needed to deliver the requested service, respond to your request, and carry out the purposes explained in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having permission to submit material and for keeping your own copies of important information.
The apps may display data, maps, imagery, or content from third parties, with their own attribution, license, availability, and usage limits. Do not remove required attribution. Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Purchases, subscriptions, and changes
These terms alone do not create a purchase or subscription. If paid features are offered, the applicable price, billing interval, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be shown before purchase. App-store purchases are managed under the store’s billing, cancellation, and refund processes, subject to applicable law. Uninstalling an app does not cancel a subscription.
We may update features or discontinue a service, subject to applicable law and any paid-service commitments. Features can differ by platform, app version, location, or provider coverage. We may restrict access to address misuse or security risks. Where appropriate and required, we will provide notice.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or a specific outcome. You remain responsible for outdoor, boating, navigation, and fishing decisions.
To the extent permitted by law, Roundhouse is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of or inability to use the services, including lost profits or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer remedies.
8. Applicable law and updates
Florida law governs these terms to the extent permitted by law, without depriving you of mandatory protections in your place of residence. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring claims available under applicable law.
We may revise these terms as the services evolve. We will identify the updated date and provide additional notice when required. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the affected service, subject to any rights you retain by law.
